In the small garden at Läckö castle, the cultivation behind the whitewashed walls are ecological and manual. The edible plants are served at the restaurant Hvita Hjorten (the White Deer).

Since 1990, there's a new theme every year. 2014, the theme is Liguria, a region in northwest Italy, known for its mild Mediterranean climate and its rich vegetation. One place situated there are San Remo, that each year is sending flowers to the Nobel banquet, because Alfred Nobel lived there the last years of his life.
